About Pinewoods Park

Pinewoods Park is located near the Town center on Pinewoods Road directly off Route 9. This is a neighborhood park which boosts its state-of-the-art skate park.

Skate Park

The skate park was funded through a generous grant from NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The skate park is open and free to the public. Rules are posted that state hours of operation and safety guidelines. We recommend the use of personal safely equipment (helmet, knee pads and elbow pads).

Hours

Hours for the Pinewoods Skatepark:

• 9 a.m. - Dusk
• Restrooms open from 4 - 6 p.m. during the summer. (Port-o-john)
• July 2 - August 17
  Closed Monday - Friday. 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The park has:

• 2 tennis courts
• 2 basketball courts
• Children's playground
• Baseball/softball field

Park Area

The park is convenient to restaurants, shops and homes. The park has a woodland area with a 1 mile loop Nature Trail that winds through the beautiful woodlands and skirts the scenic Crum Elbow Creek. Other amenities include a Shaker-built picnic shelter and restrooms that are open to the public during park hours. A small pavilion and the ball field are available for reservation.
